“Working with Kerry over the past year has quite frankly changed me and our relationship in ways I never imagined possible.”
WHERE: 40 Center Street, Northampton, MA.
WHEN: November 17, 2017 | November 17th 2017 9-4:30
The past three decades have produced an abundance of research in the field of marital therapy and the psychobiology of relationships. As a result, we now have evidence-informed treatment models with the best success rates couples therapy has ever seen.
The key feature that these leading models share in common is that they are state-dependent and target dysregulation. And while each provides the clinician with a comprehensive approach to treatment, perhaps most exciting is the potential that comes from the integration of the strands.
This workshop will draw on the leading methods falling under the rubric of state-dependent couples therapy, including Gottman Method Couple Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Pragmatic Experiential Therapy (PEX-T) and the Psychobiological Approach (PACT). We will explore the overlap regarding the insights and treatment options that it affords, including targeted assessments and interventions to support us in our work with the most challenging of couples.
CE’s provided for Psychologists, LICSW’s, LMHC’s, and LMFT’s
