“I think social consciousness is innate to my upbringing and highly relevant to the sense of justice which pushed me toward law. From being a mediator, I learned that I could be comfortable in high conflict situations and that I’m good at being neutral and helping people decide for themselves what’s fair. But in the end, therapy feels like where I should have been all along — the absolute rightest thing.”
Lauren has been a lawyer, a family mediator, a facilitator of a motherhood support group, an owner and operator of a fitness franchise for mothers with infants, an HIV/AIDS activist and educator, and now a couples therapist. It’s safe to say she’s a powerhouse. Lauren brings her uniquely focused intelligence combined with a passion for standing up for people who are not being heard. In her personal life, Lauren raises two wonderful children and way too many chickens.
