Martha Reeves, MA, LICSW

She/her

Clinical Supervisor

“My interest and energy for this work is rooted in the belief that intimate partnership is one of the most important investments we make in life. How we navigate this complicated and ever-changing terrain has a powerful influence on our children, family and community. I aspire to help couples bring the intention, intelligence and courage of their best selves forward with our research-backed models as a foundational guide for the process.”

Martha is a preternaturally good observer. She exudes a low-key calm that belies a poised, but intensely powerful and well-trained mind. With over 30 years of education and training under her belt, she has refined her practice to engage people on a deeper level to find their strengths. Her clients feel known and understood, and can relax in her easy-going humor.

Services Offered: Martha offers online couples therapy for international couples and couples in MA and VT. Additionally, Martha specializes in private intensive couples therapy retreats and sees couples at our home office in MA.

Ask me about: how to learn to love running outdoors even in the dead of winter. How I met Nancy Wilson, Patty Lebelle and Tina Turner. What can happen on a silent meditation retreat.

Ever since I was young: I was tuned into what was not being said by the people around me and wondered how to find out; I dreamed of being a private investigator and loved (still do) detective stories and movies. I enjoy the art of sleuthing!

Favorite Quote: “My actions are my only true belongings.” -Thich Nhat Hanh

Favorite kind of couple: Couples who have the ability to risk sustaining commitment and tolerating the uncertainty of what will unfold when they find and tell their truth.
